People start companies for all kinds of reasons. In my case, The Verticale was built on a dream. I had no plan. Zero connections to the startup e-commerce industry. Only an obsession with new brands who dared to lead with stories of
🌱 sustainability,
💁♀️ female empowerment,
🫧 non-toxic ingredients,
👯♀️ diversity
My crazy founder dream was that it should be easier to find them…
It's only now, looking back on the journey, that I can see how the dream came to life along the way. One series of small moments, that led to other bigger moments.
One thing’s for sure– the brand founders who have shared their ideas and stories with me, have made The Verticale into what it is today. To all the founders who said yes when you could have said no, who signed onto our marketplace first (before it was the cool thing to do)— thank you, thank you, thank you.
To our community for being here and reading this (that's you), I am endlessly grateful that you have followed our story and are still hanging with us. We'd be nowhere without you.
