Heya hiya!
Itβs the first Sunday of 2025 and as I plan out all my resolutions (dry jan, hitting the gym, reading more β you know, the usual) I canβt help but think, this is not the 2025 that Marty McFly (Back to the Future) had led me to believe Iβd be living. Virgin πΈ As a NYC-native, going to happy hour after work is just a part of the culture, kind of like grabbing a coffee in the morning. But as someone who has been sober nearly their entire adult life, Iβve had to get used to confidently asking the bartender for a βlittle virgin cocktail.β So without further ado, as a self-proclaimed mocktail aficionado, here are my favorite finds.
The almond mom who raised me has instilled a great love of skinny margaritas. What I drink when hanging out with anyone under 25, or over 50. Plus a little something for the Carrie Bradshaw in me.
And if Iβm in the mood for something a little more πππ π½πΎπππΎπΈπΆπππΉ, I call upon my aperitivo line-up: for casual new yorkers, for chill guys, and for the cool influencer girlies.
